The new Ultrastar A7K2000 drive has been fully tested and certified for use with the complete range of Fibrenetix desktop and rackmount storage systems.
Hitachi has designed, manufactured and tested the Ultrastar A7K2000 to ensure an enterprise-class ‘mean time between failure’ (MTBF) of 1.2 million hours in demanding 24x7 business-critical applications. The high capacity and reliability, 7200 RPM performance, low power, and enterprise-class features make the Ultrastar A7K2000 SATA drive ideal for any storage implementation where gigabyte-per-watt, cost-per-gigabyte and storage density are critical parameters.
